She is a skilled restoration carpenter, learning this trade with a master craftsman and dear friend, Bob Dunning. She was a site supervisor and construction assistant for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland as an Americorps member. She has hands-on experience with energy efficiency, home energy auditing, LEED and ENERGYSTAR performance, building and historic preservation.
